What you’ll do
Let's discuss community management and moderation of social platforms. Take part in 8 Out of 10 Comments to see how closely your opinions align with those of other Reddit users.
About the project
8 Out of 10 Comments presents anonymised posts from the social platform Reddit.com, and it is your goal to try and guess whether other Reddit users liked or disliked the post.
Sentiment Analysis has been performed on all posts, labelling keywords and the whole post as "positive", "neutral", or "negative". This tells us the emotion or feeling represented by those words, but not how other Reddit users felt about the post.
The posts' Score is the sum of Upvotes (likes) and Downvotes (dislikes) given by other Reddit users, however it will remain hidden while you cast your vote. After votes have been cast by putting an Upvote or Downvote token into the corresponding slot, the Score and context of the post will be revealed!
How closely do you agree with the wider community? Given the added context, would you change your vote? What implications does this have for automated moderation using machine learning?
